Evolense: A Good Alternative For Lenses

UPDATE: I received a response from them today. They assured to me just what I had assumed. They said that they were looking at the wrong chart, and that the Onyx Black lenses are actually 10% transmission. I am probably going to order some today if they will work with me on the price. They...

Evolense: A Good Alternative For Lenses

Light Transmission? That is what I thought, so I emailed them again just in case they made a typo. I never received a response. Therefore, I have to assume that the first email they sent is true. I'm hoping that somebody that has replaced Oakley black iridium with Evolense version can...

Evolense: A Good Alternative For Lenses

I got an email from evolense stating that the light transmission on their black iridium replacement lenses is 25%, and the lens curvature is identicle to the original Oakley lenses. Can anyone verify this for me. 25% sounds really bad considering that the originals are 9%. Thanks.

Did your Evolenses come in yet? I'm waiting to hear what you have to say before I order some.

    Aftermarket Lense UVA/UVB Protection?

I'm new to the forum, so I hope I am not asking something that has already been covered. Has anyone heard any info regarding the quality of the UVA/UVB protection from any of the aftermarket lenses? I'm sure that they all claim to be UVA/UVB blocking, but is there any data to back up the claims?
