The Standard Issue Gascans (matte black w/ grey) should all still say made in USA. The other models won't. From what I gather, most of the OMatter frames are still manufactured in Foothill Ranch, metals are either China or Italy.

I'd say weight is a bit of a factor too. If have the Costa Reefton in the 580G Blue lens and they feel a bit front heavy, especially compared to my Radar EV's w/ PDW. I guess that why you see so many Costa wearers rocking the eyewear retainers.

I remember there was (almost) nothing more frustrating than "that guy" that spent wayyyy to long inspecting the lenses before making a purchase. As if they just couldn't wait to find the smallest of defects. :headbang:But hey, we spend good money on these things...we deserve to be picky, right?? :D

I've never had it happen with a new pair. But it sounds to me like the seller might have replaced one of the lenses with a non-polar, which I have seen before. Bummer man, sounds like it basically makes them unwearable.

Nailed it...that's why they make so many of them I guess. Prizm lenses were made to enhance color in specific environments. Then they evolved to accommodate the "everyday" customer (ie Prizm Jade, Sappire, Black Iridium) But they all do a great job and helping you better distinguish color. It's...
