I can respect Kawhi's approach. He took his time, and fully controlled his situation. I'm not sure how well PG can fare these days, but Kawhi did this entirely on his terms. He didn't play to the pressure of owing Toronto anything (other than it's a bit customary to try to defend your title as the literal FMVP of that team), and he wasn't going to be bought by LeGM and the blantant practice of making players expendable.

Like I expressed before, I didn't like the Lakers blowing the roster up. That created a new narrative and concerns. The Clippers put the most impressive run in the west. If they move to San Diego, where he's from, then that's icing for him. He made the best decision he could.

Still f*** the Clippers though.
