24k XXs

Seen a pair of X Metal XX 24ks on EBay. They are absolutely battered. Lenses look like they've been cleaned with some scotch brite and all the gold coating on the arms is virtually worn off. Might as well advertise them as X Metal finish. The thing is, they are currently upto £150 with 7 days to go. Why are they going for so much already?

they are still an XX frame regardless, value is higher than Juliet frame...
