The first time the tool deformed it would have gone in the trash or the calipers would have come out and we'd have a nice replacement tool steel tip.
That tool needs to push instead of turn, that would solve a lot of headaches

I agree it would be a lot better if it pushed like an arbor press but the screwing makes it easy to make sure the pin is lined up right before the final push. Just finished two tune ups.

Thought I'd add a shot of my tool. I used a dremel to file the tip back straight after the running issues noted aboveout.
