30+ year old Oakley belt

Daily worn since 1995!
I really need to get the leather replaced, but don't have a lot of faith in the leather crafters where I live.

For something as simple as a belt, they don't offer a timeline to produce the final product.

I'll be honest. Any leather worker worth their salt could put a belt together for that in an hour or two. It all depends on the width and if its a two layer belt or not. If its a layered belt, and they don't have a sewing machine, saddle stitching long belts like that sucks.

They could probably even salvage the original tag and stich it back into the belt like the original

Yep, what @MicahS said.
Just buy a belt that would fit that buckle, and take it to any well rated leather shoe repair place. The most important thing is a place that has the needles to punch through the leather.

For the age, that belt is in amazing shape. Why change the leather? Keep it OEM till it rips or tears….
