50 Watt Bulb Too Hot For Oakley?

Well I have a single tower aluminum and placed a 50 watt halogen bulb I took from my kitchen's exhaust blower :blink:

Just wanted to check with the others what wattage do you guys use? I'm worried that my Pit Boss might get deformed due to the heat.

Halogen might be too hot.. It's like a headlight in your car IMO

Spend the extra bucks and get an LED bulb. The color is nicer and they run cooler and save you money on electricity.

go on ebay and buy 3watt LED you can get in cool white (more true white color), wam white (yellow closer to halogen), or the remote operated color changing bulbs. 3w leds are damn bright and zero heat....

If LED bulbs were cheaper, I'd go all-LED on all my display cases.
