You know, I sometimes like to have a little fun with numbers, just looking at how the math adds up. Doesn't really mean anything.
As of this writing, the forum's at 500,888 posts and 12237 members. That averages out to almost 41 posts per member.
But, if you look at the "notable members" -> "most posts" tab, you'll see that the top 20 most-posts members account for (again, as of this writing) 116715 posts. Which means 20 people are responsible for 23.3% of the posts on this forum.
Remove their activity, that leaves 384,173 posts from 11217 members, which averages to just over 31 posts per member.
Of course, even that's misleading - there's quite a few members with <10 posts, many many in the hundreds, and quite a few in the thousands. It'd be interesting to see a bar graph with number of members per different post count ranges...
