Thanks for the guidance on how to edit the thread. Man you are ON POINT with where I'd like to go next, it's like you read my mind or something hahah...but yeah, the titanium Juliet would be a great find, I'll keep my eyes open and be ready to pounce. The titanium Penny's I have have the ice blue lenses but they're not OEM, I think they're Walleva maybe, I would LOVE to find some with the VR28's in there and in decent condition. Penny's are my absolute favorite simply because they feel like they were made for my face, something about the spring hinges I guess.

I got the regular Mars for this addition, but after seeing qtrain23's thread on the customizing he can do...I may need to save for some Craters down the road as well.

I think after getting a feel for the Romeo market a bit better the last few days that I'll wait on them, maybe make them the "pot of gold at the end of the rainbow" as far as my x metals go, at least for now. Perhaps if business does well this first quarter I'll treat myself when springtime rolls back around.

Hopefully working out a deal with a fellow member for some "basically new" x squared sometime in the next 24 hours...that should be a fun pair to add. I think I'll get some significant use out of them. I'm starting to like the squarer frames a little more lately. My wife bought me some Jupiter Factory Lights brushed aluminum for Christmas and they also look and feel good. I will start a collection thread and post some pics!

Thanks for all the input BriP, I'm loving this forum, very fun to see the creativity and customization as well as amazing collections. I don't know exactly how I stumbled upon it here, but very glad I did.

I'd like to find a way to add holes to regular mars. That's where I'd like to go next, but I can't find a cost effective way.

The mars is one of my favorite pairs

Thats the exact same seller that I ordered my Mars frames from...looks like the guy is a Mars specialist or something lol. Thanks for the post because now I know he's legit and ships safely as we'll.

No problem. I'm planning to buy a set of frames from him soon to make a custom pair.

EDIT: I also checked with a couple forum members before making my first purchase and they said he's legit. That's one of the many things that's good about a community like this forum. The wealth of knowledge and friendly attitude helps n00bs like me keep from making mistakes, finding and promoting the good sellers, and avoiding the bad ones, etc.

I'm excited to see what you're able to do with that. If you manage to pull it off it will be epic, and may even open doors for other radical mods.

Is there some sort of diamond tip bit that could be used in a press to accomplish this?

edit:

By the way, Mars has also always been one of my favorites, the steam punk'ish/futuristic look just appeals to me...my wife on the other hand, she's going to take some convincing. She had managed to talk me out of buying some Mars (for 10 years) until my most recent purchase.

Ideally it'd be done with a Cnc mill ideally. I don't believe you'd need a special bit.

It could be interesting

I noticed that, wonder where in the sam hell they got SO many Mars? It's odd. But they're legit! What lenses do you have?

There will be more. He sells them 2 at a time. Keep checking.

He sold that last two pairs w/o lenses @ $200....put up another pair at $220. But he sells complete Mars w/ lenses for $250. $200 seemed a great deal without lenses, for $220 i'd rather pony up the extra $30 and get the completed deal without having to pull out lenses and replace clips and maybe break one. My extra lenses are black iridium and i was planning to hang on to them.
