Context: We recently moved far away from family, and they have come to visit for Christmas. We were doing a sightseeing road trip through various towns.
I wandered into a shop with an Oakley sign to check things out. I found a pair of Mbappe deadbolts (looked pretty good in person). Okay, maybe...check price..130$. What? Why?....shop owner yells over "buy em, cant believe they lost". Goes on to rant about world cup to other customers. Yes, he had reduced them from 300 something because he was mad about the game....cool, sold!...Cue family...
Kid runs into store, "mom needs you" "we need to find a bathroom" " someone is hungry"...."where is grandmom"...
Fine...find bathroom and grandmom, got food, secretly bought a cristmas gift...back in van moving on..
Me: " sonovabitch....i forgot to buy the damn glasses"
