A-wire Or E-wire?

I bought these Oakley sunglasses around 2002 and wore them for years, still have them and would like to replace the rubber on the ear pieces and the lenses. I can't remember if they were a-wires or e-wires and is it even still possible to find replacement parts for glasses this old?

Well E wires have oval lenses so we can mark that one out. Looks like maybe an A wire 2.0?

I should say on the inside of one of the arms ...

Looks like my A Wires though ... Hard to tell but I can't see a spring hinge ... So Original A Wire is my guess...

Edit: you can still buy rubber kits for those frames ... As for lenses, look for other members selling old pairs and you can snatch me up and swap lenses ...

I agree after looking at the O-Review site that they are the A Wire 2.0's, no spring. I guess I will buy a new rubber kit and some lenses from eyeKon since that's the only place I can find replacements. Looking around on this forum they seem to have ok reviews.

No spring would normally mean A Wire "1.0" not "2.0" ...

And rubber can be bought directly from Oakley ...that's what i did ... I have the exact same frames

Thanks! I found the replacement rubber pieces on Oakley's site for $10, any experience with the eyeKon lenses or other replacements?

What color lenses do you need? Also can you post a shot of the hinge. Still learning my wires

Here is the hinge that's on mine, almost positive it is the A Wire 2.0, just ordered new rubber kit from Oakley, need black or grey lenses.

Yup, its a 2.0. I think I have a set of lenses in bronze somewhere.
