i had a guy on ebay quote me $130 for 2 blocks. that doesn't include shipping either. i didn't realize acrylic is that pricey.

If you have an acrylic shop near by stop in and ask if they have any scrap pieces. A friend of my in LA has a shop and when I would go in there I would dig around in his scrap bin.
Always found small pieces I can use for risers or whatever.
Plus they will either give it to you or sell it for cheap.
