Can anyone give me the details on these babies, when they were made? I was told they were made during the olympics. Don't have a clue but love em to death. Cheers

Made for the 2012 Summer Olympics...the frame color is referred to as Old Glory. Those come in handy every 4th of July!

2012 "Old Glory". The model was pretty limited. I believe they only made 250 pairs.
The only thing that seems odd is the lense color. Should be +Red Iridium, but from the pics, they look like maybe Grey or gold. But that could just be the countertop you have them on....
I agree on the lens color. These had +Red Iridium and then the Union Jack pair had Ruby Iridium. Both are great pairs. Only 250 of each pair were made. I got both my pairs at the Covent Garden store in London.
As the above have already saidThey indeed are meant to have +Red Iridium but that looks more brown than anything(could be gold)? cmac

The lenses are definitely a gold ish color. Slightly mirrored. Thanks for input folks
He's an awesome dude. Half the really cool stuff I have came from him.
We used to talk daily but he's been busy with personal stuff so I've not connected with him in probably a few weeks. But yes I also have a few 1 offs from him. He always asks me first about rare frogs..I cleaned him out thoughSimilar threads
