Any Strava users? Virtual meet-up?

Exactly.. The Pace needs to be water proof too for me to take interest.

Its a pity that Strava doesn't cater for a wider range of discipline

@MonsterDog

I downloaded strava but it has me as cyclist and I can't find anyway to be anything other than a cyclist.

I seem to be missing something??

Imo though - if there's stuff in the app but not user friendly, what's the point?

Either I'm thick as **** or the app is tricky?? :)

Well

I'm officially effing stupid.. it appears to be only for cycling and running.

I'm sure that somehow it can be altered but if it's not obvious within the first few minutes of playing the app is a failure, or they are trying to convert us all to fume breathing road athletes lol :D

It's getting deleted..

I'm sorry my rant is not aimed at you @MonsterDog but at strava.

I found it really disappointing in the past but when you posted this I though - ok perhaps they've thought it through.... but no. This is perhaps the most enfuriating app I've ever tried! Something about it just doesn't gel.

The fact that I can only find it useful if I'm a road athlete of some kind??

Most annoying thing is - when I train road athletes in the watery discipline they appear as 'non athletes' as they are slowly destroyed by the water and their lack of ability and fitness!! Lol. Truly - non of our local cyclist or runners can go the distance in the river or sea when they are wet.

If I do use strava as a runner or cyclist, it's still not a nice interface. I just don't get sucked into it or its ease of use.
