Anyone know a shop for leather wallet repair?

I have a Mark Cross leather wallet from the 1980's (from before their bankruptcy and subsequent reboot) that I would like to have refurbished. Does anybody know of a shop that can do repair work on leather wallets? So far I've seen Leather Spa and Leather Surgeons, both of New York, mentioned on the Web, but I haven't found anybody who has personal experience with either of those repair shops.
Does anybody have any suggestions or recommendations for wallet repair?
