Words to live by,@cacatman. That truly sucks, but it's a lesson learned. Albeit an expensive one.
When Frank says "truly appreciate" he means it also in the sense that they understand what you're giving them I wouldn't give a pair of Oakleys to someone who didn't know that they were quality and not a gas-station pair. If you have to tel them that they are expensive you could come off as a condescending douche... I'm always mindful of the recipient because of that!
