Both of these are available on Vault.com in my size. I'm thinking of getting one or both, but I really don't want to have to return them.
I wear my SI 6" tan (suede) boots every day and I'm looking for a replacement. This pair is ready to be retired, and their replacement I'd like to reserve for work only.
Does anyone own the Battalion or Race Low 2 (not sure where it differs from the OG Race Low), and can comment on arch support, width, toe room, weight, etc?
I realize the Race Low will be light and flexy, I'm mainly concerned about them fitting more like a slim Puma. The image of the sole shows that it doesn't taper ridiculously at the arch like a lot of racing shoes that emphasize minimalism.
And the Battalion I'd just like to hear some feedback on. They look good, the only thing keeping me from taking the gamble is the price and not knowing anything about them.
