I think also the Japan releases tend to go with a lot of the non-iridium or less mirrored tints as a cultural style, as it is considered rude to hide your eyes - and it makes sense with a lot of the Japan Frogskins, Beams, Atmos, Original Fakes, etc - of course their are exceptions like the bear bricks and the masterminds, but Ti Clear, Slate and light grey seem to always pop up in those Japan editions!
