Bending Frogskins?

I went to an optician to have my Oakley Holbrooks(which is also made off O-matter) widened. They do it by heating it with hot air with specialized airguns. The optician told me that it took a long time to get the legs to bend and that they tended to bend back to the original shape. My Holbrooks ended up being only widened a little bit.

Bending will not be easy to do yourself, at least without heating the material. Good luck.

Perhaps sand down the part on the stems that keep it from opening more?

Disclaimer: I have never tried this, and wouldn't do it myself, It is just a suggestion.

O-Matter cannot be formed by heat, it will go back to original shape.

Stretching however is another story. You can widen your glasses by gently stretching them out for periods of time.

It depends on how far you're trying to stretch them out. I would just try a small amount for a few mins first and see how it fits. Then go from there.

Go to a sunglass hut. They have a machine to heat them and fit it to your face.
