Bob Head restoration project

I bought this Bob head in 2013 and It has been stored away since then. It was not well packed and arrived severely damaged beyond what I thought was repairable. I’ve even considered throwing it away numerous times but resisted the urge thinking I could rebuild it. Well, I finally got busy this week and have made good progress to the point where it can stand on its own. There is still a hole In the head that will require some more creative repairs but everything else will need little more than filling and sanding. Once it is complete I will repaint it. I will continue to post progress pics along the way.

Was yours damaged in shipping too? I have a pic of mine in pieces from 7 years ago that I will try to find. Looks like yours is just damaged on the base? I’ve had good luck with Monkey Glue and blue tape to secure it while it dries. I’ve done a couple pieces daily and then put in a warm environment for 24 hours to cure before removing the tape. It’s tedious but I think the end results will be worth it.

Yes was a badly packaged eBay purchase a while back but have been too busy to get round to sorting I did get a full refund which was good as reassessing it doesn't look as bad as I thought
