Hey y'all - been here awhile, and just now getting around to asking all those questions that inquiring minds want to know but haven't asked. So here goes, in no particular order!

Why do some lenses have an "H" sticker on them? What does this mean? (I've noticed this a lot on X metals).

What does the "OO" mean with regard to lenses? How is it different from non-OO lenses? (OO-BIP vs. BIP, etc.)

What is + or positive red iridium? What makes it "positive?"

What does the "D" refer to on some box labels? (I don't have an example for this, but it's usually next to the frame name and lens)

Thanks in advance for your responses. I feel a Jeopardy! category coming up!

H = Henry is in charge of Quality Control, puts an H on to signify he was on during that shift/batch.

00 = This is the prefix for suave British Secret Service Agents.

Postive Red = I am Positively over the moon with the look of the lenses!

D = Supermodel on my D, 1,2,3.

Hope this helped.
