C Six Prices?

I remember reading somewhere, something about if a product is limited to a run of 750 or 1500, but in the future that product could be put back into production again. It was regarding Oakley, and I can't find it anywhere now. It would suck if it's true as the Limited ones may not hold their value as well. I'll keep looking, or maybe a phone call to oakley would be easier.

I just called and "Katie" at HQ and she said that was a customer service issue and they were in training today and unavailable.

I'm still looking for the article.

Hopefully this doesnt happen with the c six because I just baught a pair becasue of the limited production. My serial number is 399 directly from oakley and they said that they only had 4 pairs left at oakley prior to me buying them so now they should only have 3 left. Who knows.

I too won't be happy if they remake these as I bought on the back of them being a ltd edition piece,bought the carbon fibre model this week also!

Called Oakley today, apparently they make the Aluminum C Six's in batches of 100 per month. IIRC these came out late 2009 so if they actually made 100 every month they should have ran out in early 2011. My guess is they only make them when the O store runs out of stock. The person I spoke to didn't know (even after speaking to someone higher up) if they planned on making more after 1500, but it sounded like they're definitely shipping more out in mid-august.

I don't give much credibility on information from Oakley customer care or their website. I have inquired on the C SIX, both carbon and aluminum, and the FMJ watch. I get a different story every time I have called. On the C 6 carbon one elite specialist said if I wanted a pair he was sure they could make one up for me possibly without collector box. A few days later I was told no way they are out of production. Same problems with the Aluminum, website say ships in 1 day, I call and they are out of stock. I have been waiting a few months for a large watch vault, website is all over the map on ship dates constantly changing. I have also got conflicting info on availability of the FMJ watch.
