The eBay fees and shipping is awfull...... I wouldn't mind but if we all sent stuff standard post customs don't pick it up anyway

My new thing is paying extra for postage so it has tracking ....but get the seller to put $50 gift.....that way when it hits the UK it's not + 22%
I wouldn't mind but they offer nothing for trading......and all of these transactions are in reality second hand goods

To play devil's advocate for a moment...

Yeah, the fees are a pain, but they are a business providing a service looking to make a profit. Really, go to a brick-and-mortar auction house and they usually add more, like 15%. Only that's not taken out of the sale price from the seller, but added on top of the sale price for the buyer...
