Can you change Oakley Side Swept lenses?

Hello all,

I am looking at purchasing my girlfriend a pair of Oakley side swept as they were her favorite pair shes tried on. however after doing some research I saw that you cannot take these lenses out of the frame if they become scratched. Does anyone know if its still possible to get them out and maybe get a donor lens custom cut for them? I don't want to drop a lot of money on something that will inevitably get scratched and not be able to be fixed down the road.

You can cut them out with a dremel or something brutal, but I dont think your girlfriend would appreciate that. And getting the lenses back in would be a B*tch. Plus theres no replacement lenses oakley sells even on the warranty site. Best avoid them since theres quite honestly a lot of frames sunglass hut has that has a similar lookz

Hope she doesnt get too upset about the reality of it because I would.

I’m pretty sure they pop out of the frame, It might be difficult Tho

I’d go on Oakley.com and go to parts and service. They might have lens there .

I checked the parts ands service site on oakley.com and nothing there except the little screws

not the first time lol. Even Mag Switches had lenses permanently in them.
