Carbon shift stem flex

Hi guys and gals, new to the forum so go gentle.
I have just taken delivery of the carbon shifts with daily prizm, really pleased with them but have noticed the carbon ear stems flex a little at the hinge point. Wondering if anyone can help me out and confirm that this is normal or not? Knowing Oakley quality I wasn't sure if this would be built into the design of them...

I have the same pair and it's perfectly normal. Good pair of glasses, hope you are enjoying them.

That's great, thanks for your reply, appreciated. I had to ask as I've never had any shades where they flexed on the vertical axis at the hinge and just had to make sure considering they are not the cheapest pair on the block. It's a relief that I don't have to send them back now. Happy days.
