Changing X Squared Lenses

Sorry folks I tried the search function and could not find anything. Anyways, how do I change the lenses on my X Squared? I know I need a T6 screw driver but is it safe to change on our own or is it a safer bet to take it to an oakley store? Sorry I'm such an x metal noob!

I would say safe.. just be careful with the T6 and the gasket when removing the screw..

I am pretty sure it is just like the XX and Juliet

Be sure to use a T6 screwdriver that matches the screw head well. Otherwise you might run the risk of stripping the head of the screw.

Sweet thanks, I guess once I get the replacement lenses, I'll make a trip to Lowes and get a T6 screwdriver!

dc10 actually did me a huge favor by suggesting jeweler grade screwdrivers. The ones you get at Home Depot or Lowes can be a little off when it comes to matching the screw head's size.

dcl10 suggested Moody's, I think, for T6 screwdrivers. There's also good review from Wiha. Should definitely be a step up from run of the mill drivers.

I plan on upgrading to one of those screwdrivers. I've had one too many run ins with stripped screw heads.
