Maybe it's because the ear stems of the x metals are so thin and long that the pressure is very localized; maybe it's because they're all I wear; and maybe it's because the design pushes the stems inward at the back but... this weekend I noticed that the back of my skull is literally indented where the ear stem ends rest.
If I take a finger from each hand at the top of where my ears are located (where the stems would rest on the ear) and go back an inch there are actually grooves there.
Anyone else???

you can use a small section of another pair of earsox and cut to slide over just the tips, they stick to the skull better and relieve most of the pressure, just cut 2 pieces 1/2" long and press onto the tips, they look good too.
