I've got a pair of Batwolfs, not sure what exactly the shield is because I found them. I know that the shield does have 'Polarized' etched in the bottom corner and it has started to chip away in the line of sight if you will. I read somethings about removing the top layer, one thing I am curious about though is if it will take away the polarization. The first thing I thought when I saw the chipping was that it was actual scratching of the lense.
Im looking into getting a new shield, probably a polarized one but in the mean time I was wondering if by stripping that top layer if it will dimenish the quality to an unwearable state.
