Cleaning & displaying stretchline

Much work to be done, although it’s a start. I used Brasso metal polish and grade 0 steel wool.

Any suggestions?

I used wd40 and wire wool and a shed load of time and elbow grease

A fine wire wheel should make quick work of cleaning that up. Either in a hand grinder/polisher, power drill or Dremel or all 3. It's looking like it's cleaning up nicely. I would like to find one of these myself.

I always liked these cases but had no idea the finish could deteriorate like that. Keep up the good work @xmetal40 and you'll have it looking like new. Now, if you could only find some nice Oakleys to put inside (GREAT collection!)
