Whats the best product for cleaning/polishing the brushed aluminum parts of the old school cases?

Ok this same note, does any body know how to clean stains on plexi glass? I've run across a case that has killer rust stains.

Might just be better to replace the plexi.

I used acetone to clean the aluminum. This is what we used to clean aluminum back when I welded. T works great. There are other chemicals you can use, but acetone is the least noxious. I used Meguiars Plastic X to clean the plexi. It takes a while but looks good when all is said and done.

Thinking of trying acetone to give my aluminum cube a little cleaning but picturing my wife asking, "what's that smell in the bedroom?"



Curious ... what do you use to polish/clean your aluminum display case?

Just be careful with acetone. That is also used for paint removal.
