Clicking On Topic Sends Me To The End Or Last Page??

Is there a setting I am supposed to change somewhere for this? When I click on the topic link it takes me to the last past or end of the thread if there is only one page. Can anyone help?

When I click on a forum name it brings me to the first page. However if you click on a forum title in the green box, which is the latest post it will bring you to the last post. Where are you clicking when you are sent to the last post?

let me check it out. I must be clicking two different areas because the last one I checked took me to the first page, first post. Thanks
