Search ebay and forum with nothing to buy - boredom
Something nice pops up - excitement
PM seller - optimistic
no deal - disappointment -> start from beginning
DEAL! - happiness
Paypal payment - trepidation
moments after PP - guilty
Seller ships out - anxiety
track EMS/USPS/Fedex/DHL - agony
package arrived - relieved
opening package - happiness
seeing it for the first time - extreme happiness
wearing it for the first time -smugness
one day later - EMPTY
start next hunt

I concur. But that feeling of sadness probably sets in after you repeatedly try to clean the "scratch line" or "dust speck" with your lens cloth, while praying real hard that it would just nudge away.
