@Pospaintballer thread earlier got me thinking about collecting Oakley as a hobby. I'd noticed that my emotions roller-coasted on a daily basis. Why?

Search ebay and forum with nothing to buy - boredom
Something nice pops up - excitement
PM seller - optimistic
no deal - disappointment -> start from beginning
DEAL! - happiness
Paypal payment - trepidation
moments after PP - guilty
Seller ships out - anxiety
track EMS/USPS/Fedex/DHL - agony
package arrived - relieved
opening package - happiness
seeing it for the first time - extreme happiness
wearing it for the first time -smugness
one day later - EMPTY
start next hunt

just ranting really ... and raking up posts .... ;)

I think most of us are in the same boat.

Literally all but one of my Oakley purchases were unexpected so the guilt part hits pretty hard.
