Concealed Carry

You’re correct. Technically, those laws are against the constitution. As a society, we overlook these violations of the constitution because we agree that they’re in the best interests of society as a whole, at the expense of a loss of some rights by some people.

However, it’s a slippery slope. Who determines whom is mentally disabled? Homosexuality was a disorder in the DSM until 1973. You could argue that determining who is a Felon is clear cut, but what if stealing a candy bar becomes a felony?

A lot of anti-gun laws would be deemed unconstitutional if they made it to the Supreme Court, which is why laws are changed or dropped if challenges start making their way through the courts.
The constitution is not immutable. See the 18th and 21st amendments.

What about felons and mentally disabled?
If its a right, how can you lose it?
It doesn't specify that felons and mentally disabled people can't have a firearm. Actually it's probably easier for felons in some areas, such as Chicago and LA, to get a firearm than it is for a law-abiding citizen.

Think about it like this, and I know this is controversial nowadays but if everyone had a gun then everyone would be too terrified to commit any crime whatsoever because there would be people nearby to stop it or at least 1 person would. Now I am an advocate for learning proper gun safety but let's not beat around the bush and say gun regulations help anybody. The first thing Hitler did when he rose to power was make everyone register their guns and then take them away. Look at the most democratic run cities in this country. They have crime out the wazoo yet politicians keep bsing everyone saying gun regulations are good. F U K THAT.
That's true, and I've seen that in previous places I lived where everyone has a gun. Now I live in DC and only felons and cops have guns. Anyone who isn't in jail, prison, or a hospital for the mentally. disabled should be allowed to possess a firearm. If you're out of jail you're deemed to have been rehabilitated so why can't you have your rights back? In some areas felons can now vote, so why shouldn't they have access to all of their rights?

I agree, it is a slippery slope. With the Party of Racism and Socialism wanting mental evaluations prior to possessing a firearm, it'll only get worse as some high regarded psychiatrists have already come out and said wanting a firearm for self-defense is paranoia. Following that logic wanting health insurance in case something happens is also paranoia! You're right, a lot of anti-gun laws would be deemed unconstitutional if they made it to the Supreme Court, and I hope a lot of them do. I'm still waiting for H.R.38 - Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017 to make it through the Senate so I can drive up and down the East Coast and not worry about going to prison.

Also whats deemed hate speech.
Theres another we allowed a long time ago and will never get back. That would be road blocks or DWI checkpoints. Absolutely against our constitutional rights. Yet we see them everyday. In this state they setup checkpoints every weekend
Hate speech is anything someone from the Party of Racism and Socialism disagrees with, even when you have proof it's true.

Hell no they'll just vote democrat.
Indeed, which is why they're allowed to. In my opinion, if you're rehabilitated enough to be able to vote, you're rehabilitated enough to have all of your Constitutional rights reinstated.

If they get a job and become a full functioning member of society again sure I'm all for it. Give them a full pardon just like Trump was doing with non violent offenders. But if they make no effort whatsoever and just back to gang banging and robbing people they can't be trusted as citizens and therefor should receive no civil rights back.
I agree, but again it's easier for a felon in DC to purchase a firearm than it is for a law-abiding citizen, I've tried. That, among other reasons, is why I am moving.

That's why gun restrictions are stupid and worthless anyway because there really ain't no law you could invent that could stop people from buying guns illegally.
Indeed, and it is why only law-abiding citizens are impacted by anti-gun laws.
