Did you check the winner of the chicken dinner. See if it looked shill bid. Thats what I did when I went back and checked a lot of my wining bids. Of course, yes I bid that much, and was ok with paying what I paid. I usually figure out what I am comfortable with and then lay it out in a bid. But what grinds my gears is gong back and seeing that his shill bid cost me an extra $300 -$400 per item. I would say in all, after adding up the shill bids and what I should have won the item fort...probably $3500 lost.
I had the same thing happen to the tune of about 2500. , What kills me is if the bid was retracted at the end and I won because of it then all the bids he made should be retracted and the item go back to the price it was without his bidding. Then shill bidding wouldn't work. But no you bid it up and up then retract the bid at the end and I pay more than was fairly reached. Not cool is the bottom line.
