I can no longer take these “Health Experts” seriously. What a joke. How does the virus differentiate between which protests to infect and which ones not too?
You didn't know? The virus is sentient. It won't attack the rioters, looters, and scumbag criminals because their intentions are approved by the dumbasscrat party and the media.....

This was posted on the (satire) site Babylon bee just a couple days before the so called “Health experts” declared A real statement. Life imitates comedy. We are turning into Idiocracy.

They've already said that if there's breakouts of covid due to the rioting that we should blame 'racism' not the 'protesters.' They have no semblance of personal responsibility! Which is pretty darn obvious

Not here to argue and has nothing to do with Covid in terms of current protests, but thought it was relevant and interesting

1 out of every 1,000 black men in the United States can expect to be killed by the police.
Black men are about 2.5 times more likely to be killed by police than white men.

In 2019, 1,099 people were killed by police in the US.
24% of those were black, even though only 13% of the population is black.
Black Americans make up a disproportionate number of COVID-19 deaths.
In Michigan, black people make up 14% of the population and 40% of COVID-19 deaths.
In Louisiana, black people are 33% of the population but account for 70% of COVID-19 deaths.
Black Americans are more likely to work in essential jobs, with 38% of black workers employed in these industries compared with 29% of white workers.
Black Americans are less likely to have access to health insurance and more likely to lack continuity in medical care.
In the US, black workers comprise 11% of the US workforce, but hold just 7% of STEM jobs that require a bachelor’s degree or higher.
Only 4% of medical doctors are black.
Hispanic workers make up 16% of the US workforce, 6% of STEM jobs that require a bachelor’s degree or higher, and 4.4% of medical doctors.
Women make up 47% of the US workforce but 41% of STEM professionals with professional or doctoral degrees.
We know around 3.5% of the US workforce identifies as LGBTQ+, their representation in STEM fields is largely unknown - in part due to fear.
As of 2019, less than 4% of tenured or tenure-track geoscience positions are held by people of color.
Fewer than 100 black women in the US have received PhDs in physics.

This post is essentially this saying...

"Poor neighborhoods have the most crime because the people are poor."

I'm sorry but that's 100% bs. Poor neighborhoods have the most crime because the people in those neighborhoods make the poorest decisions, which is also why they're poor! We all see the poorest looking people playing scratch off lottery at convenience stores. No one makes them waste their money on reckless endeavors. They choose to do that on their own. Then 9 out of 10 times those same people buy cigarettes and beer. More bad choices that they make freely of their own volition.

Statistics this statistics that...blah blah blah...we all make choices, some choose better than others and ultimately lead a better life. This country isn't as racist as some like to perpetuate. A person of color has far more opportunities today than they did 5 years ago much less 50 years ago. Can we not celebrate the advances we've achieved? Must we focus on the bad all the time? Are we perfect? Hell no! Can we improve? Hell yes! Does racism still exist? Absolutely! Is America systemically racist? Absolutely not! If you think so, you're the racist and you only see things through the spectrum of racism. I choose to see the better things this country represents. I suggest others do the same!
