Great question! The boxes simply have a white label with "Carbon with 24K" and make no mention of "Corvette".
To muddy the water this was a Japan release - a Japan release celebrating the ultimate American sportscar???
The actual Corvette crew got ruby lenses with a flag etched in the left lens but these are something completely different.
It's a great colorway but you can make a pair of "customs" for a third of the price.
The first gen carbons got a "CJ" prefix serial and these got "JC" so why are they called Corvettes?
