I found a set of gunmetal/emerald Splice's on Craigslist for $100. Is this a decent deal?

I'm assuming it's the glasses and not goggles?

What's the condition of them?

I asked for pictures. But the seller says they are in "very good" condition.

The Splice is a tough decision.

I was looking for one but most of the ones I found had wear and tear on either the frame or the lenses and neither can be easily replaced.

Hoepefully they are authentic. I would have that seller snap pix.... His "very good" and your "very good" are totally different

Exactly. I've had people on Craigslist say their car was "clean" when it was a ****box. :laugh:

If someone isn't an avid collector of sunglasses.. they'll look at a $10 walmart pair with some scuffs on the lens and still say they are "clean" or "wearable" so... i would suggest asking for photos. I've met up with alot of people only to turn down their beat to sh*t glasses...

Definitely ask for close up pics of the inside of the orbitals. I wouldn't worry about the polished black pieces, but focus more on the Gunmetal. The ear socks tend to wear too and cannot be replaced.
