Crosshairs (2012)

I may be picking a pair of crosshairs (2012) up later this month (first wires!), and I understand from reading some reviews on o-review that some of the different frames have different weights.
Can anyone expand a little more on that?
Also, does anyone know any cool colourways?

I really like the matte black / black iridium, brown chrome would be different.

I like the look of the brown chrome, but I don't know if I'd be able to get it without in store customization; I don't have the funds for a polarized sunglass right now :/

Hmm.. wearing them at a hockey game, not a bad idea! I'm sure it would cut down on the glare of the ice. I'll have to give it a try next time I'm at the ACC

I'll be getting a pair once i see them at the right price...i'll be going for the lead with Polarized just for the woman spotting!!
