So I recently bought a pair of five squared. I think they fit my face even better than the twenty's that I've had for 10 years. The fact that they lasted me 10 years is a testament to the quality of the product. I have a narrow face so there were very few options for what frames would work. There is enough room to fit a finger between my temple and the twenty frame, but not with the fives.
I happen to like the crystal black color better, but I could not find a pair of fives with crystal black unfortunately.

I submit the following for anyone who is narrow faced like me to make an educated decision on what to buy.

One thing that is odd about this pair of fives is that when I place it on a table, it does not sit flat. One of the arms is up about 2 mm while the other is touching the table. Anyone know if this is normal?

You gotta remember......nothing is perfect.....BUT..... everything in the world can and will be made better. ;)

So is the Five Squared a descendent of the twenty? They are pretty close in design. I do miss the earsocks, but I wont miss replacing them in 10 years and breaking the arm! ha! I also noticed that the nose socks (?) on the five squared are much smaller than the twenty, but the actual bridge is wider.
