cmiiw but you could have easily sold those 4legged turqoises and bought a matte black frame and have PLENTY of change left over. were they damaged or something?

Yeah sure, but being in perth - west australia, it isnt quite as easy to organize swaps etc as it is in the states. Shipping is a pain in the ass, and like i said, i really didnt like them so it didnt bother me.

The distressing comment is an interesting one. Seems the paint i used wasnt awesome, and because they get used so often the original colour is starting to peek out around the ends of the legs/around the hinges, we'll see how it goes, i think it'll look quite cool.

Not to mention i want to do a camouflage finish one day soon, so these will be the guinea pigs.
