Nope. Nothing that's wrapped touches your face. And you can't see it when wearing either. At least I can't.

Very cool! I wonder if you can use copper wire instead of regular thread to give it a steampunk feel to it. That would be sick... Would be a challenge to tie off / terminate the ends though.

The hard part would be routing it. Would be pretty stiff

the problem wouldnt be poking it thru the holes, you actually have to stitch the fabric with it.
