Cutting lenses by hand (a guide)

Second try. These are much cleaner than the first one. Too bad the iridium peeled off a bit. These had so much scratches on the iridium before i cut them

What masking are you using?

I recommend Frog Tape yellow for delicate surfaces. By far the best option. And be sure to de-tack it a bit too.

If the lens is already scratched I wouldn’t bother with any masking to be honest.
 

My 3rd attempt, much better than the first 2 😆 i used R1 beater lens with normal cracks on the edge 😄.
Now, Im running out of donor beater lens. I need more supplies for more practices lolz 🤣
