Just my 2 cents...... I don't trust that seller and I never would. I have numerous metals and the first gen Juliet lenses are the only ones that I have ever seen that have the true OEM Oakley ruby. I am not going to start a rumor or an argument with with anyone on this but any time I see the word "custom" I tend to be cautious about it. There are a few sellers on EBay that purchase metal frames sell the OEM lenses separate then insert aftermarket lenses and sell them as custom. I don't know about anyone else but I would compare them to OEM lenses.......

I had a run in with him years ago and I caught him lying flat out. He didn't even respond when I questioned him.

Seriously thank you for the heads up. Unfortunately the only way to tell if a lens is true OEM is to do a comparison. So I have a new (6 month old) set of ruby lenses that came out of a pair of Juliets that I made into prescription frames that are actually quite red, just slightly less red than these with quite a bit of purple hue. I held them up and did a comparison looking out a window. They look to be exactly the same color as the ones in this frame. I then rotated and "panned" both of them to see if there was any distortion... none on either. If these are after market then they are indistinguishable from OEM as far as I can tell. Whew!

The reason I asked if they were exovista right away is because they look as good as my exovista ruby. Not to say that they're not genuine but here are some comparison shots. I'll get better (daylight) pics of the exovista tomorrow.

I have looked at the exovista's online. I think they are more red than the ones that I have. The ones in mine actually have orange on the outer edge from certain angles. They really look like the juliet ruby lenses with just a bit more red & purple hue. Look forward to seeing the daylight pics.
