Yeah two different sku's...the original release was 24-173 and these are 30-936. I think all of the MPH start with a 30 instead of 24, but I could be wrong.

All MPH's will start with 30, but Oakley will sometimes assign new sku's starting with 30 to denote a product that is going to clearance. This is done in order to prevent a mix up in the system after an item is taken off the main site since everything is warehoused at the same location.

Probably why they are half price, then.

Not lame. Just cheap.

And why not. Just pick up a Polarised lens later if you want. It's the frame that matters at this stage.

Pretty much, just left over o-matter frame pieces they put together in a stock box and stock microfiber, nothing special/limited about them, basically your poor man's version of a limited release.
