Did 1999 Fire Iridium lenses look more orange through the view than recent Fire Iridium lens color?

Has the viewing color of Fire Iridium changed since 1999? I’m the original owner of a pair of 1999 Straight Jackets with Fire Iridium lenses, and the viewing color through the lenses is quite orange. I’ve looked at other recent lenses that are Fire Iridium (NON Prizm), and the orange viewing tint is replaced by a more green/grey tint. Does this seem right to anyone else?

It is what it is, and yes I agree, that Orange/Original Fire looked MUCH better than this washed out tone they later ended on.

Old fire is similar to prizm ruby now when looking through. More orange, vs fire now is greenish to look through.

I have both Fires and I agree.

The old looks like a similar base but has an orange sheen over the inside to me. I love the OGs.

Well ain’t that some ****. That’s too bad. Is Oakley cutting corners? The new lens doesn’t seem to have as quality of a view imho.
