did some polishing today

before and after pics here. I just took the worn out finish off with sand paper.. 320 then 120 grit, acid bath then acetone, then reassemble
Not a super high polish but I don't like high polish anyway, I wanted plasma.. without going into plating and coating, which I really just don't have time to do.. this works pretty well for a nice satin plasma effect. Love the rough metal look!

This is side by side with a Ti finish frame, on bottom, so you can see it's a bit brighter and shinier than oem Ti, and that's a shiny oem Ti too

I am thinking about taking it apart, acid bathing it again, then copper plating it, then nickle plating it after that, to try and get a legit satin nickle finish. Any thoughts?
 
Nice work - I've been itching to polish a Romeo but all mine are in too good shape.
