I have some experience in polishing items mostly paintball guns. I was wondering would I go about it the same way. First I would start out with 600 grit sand paper wet ofcouse. I only wet sand. Then move to 800 then 1000 then 1500 then finally 2000 grit. Them polish out with mothers mag polish. I have tried to just polish with my dremil and mag polish and getting mediocre results the alluminum is pretty oxidized. I know oakley cases are more of a finished allumnium color. Mine when finished would look like chrome.
Would this process devalue the item?
Is there any way to remove scratches from the plexiglas or should I just replace it?
