What paint job were you thinking of? I quite like the industrial aluminium look, scratches and all.

it looks great, but slightly too clean. You know how all of those heavy duty boxes all shows some wear on the side to add in character?

I agree it needs character as it looks too new, but time will do that eventually.

sure, if you assembly model toys, you can see a lot of work done on making things look old and had been bumped around. Think of those pictures of old airplanes, tanks and so on. Its much more interesting to the eye.
