DMLS printed X-Metal parts?

Has anyone tried ordering replacement parts for their frames from a company like imaterialize? The detail level seems adequate to replicate Ti parts with an x-metal-like finish. If someone on the board has access to a 3d scanner, it would be awesome if they could start a store for this stuff.

These are made from grade 5 titanium, which is probably the most common alloy It's about as strong as chrome-moly steel. DMLS has been used to print turbomachinery for rocket and aircraft applications, as well as structural parts for aircraft, so yeah, I think it will work lol.

Sintering is not as strong as casting. But I would love to have one of those machines

There is a reason SpaceX prints entire rocket engines (you know, the most highly stressed part of the most high performance vehicle mankind builds) using this method.

I confirmed I have a method to 3d scan the parts. Should I scan just a hammerstem? or some XS parts too?
